If you like chicken boiled dry and the taste of raw spices then this is your thing for sure. Amateurish cooking at best, reminiscent of the food a year might bring home from food tech. Hot sauce is ok though and the Rio was a refreshing change from the absolutely awful brown stew chicken. Seriously Southampton, how are we allowing this kind of behaviour?

Went here with high hopes. Brand new establishment that serves halal Caribbean food in Southampton.I spent £ on ackee, curry goat, Mac and cheese, one piece of jerk chicken and one piece of fried chicken. I ordered two large meals and although they were full, I paid £ for rice. There was maybe one large tablespoon of salt fish (almost no ackee in there) and curry in each tub plus some steamed vegetables. The jerk chicken was actually brown stew chicken (tasty but not what I ordered) and I felt like £ for a chicken drumstick was a bit steep. Came home pretty disappointed and a bit ripped off.I gave three stars because the flavours are there and the food is delicious but unfortunately I would not return purely on the affordability/portion sizes. For this price I could have gone to a nice restaurant. I would suggest that they start doing share or combo boxes and a better price on the pieces of chicken.Parking: £. for mins

Flavour of the food was really nice but completely let down by the tiny chunks of goat on offer.% of my meal was just bone and in the large jerk chicken you are only given leg.Rice to meat ratio is way off for the price and food was cold at the bottom of the plastic tubs we were given, so much so we had to re heat when we got home (a short min drive away). Please add more sauce to your dishes especially if you plan to load them up with more rice than actual meat.
